Cecelia's 4

Cecelia turned 4 on the 22nd.  Daddy had the day off to help us celebrate.  We opened presents in the morning and then relaxed playing the rest of the day until is was time to leave.  We went to Applesbees for a birthday dinner and then headed to Fredrick Meijer Gardens for a carriage ride.

Cecelia's new bike and mom and dad.

New clothes

We had her 4 year checkup at the doctors the other day.
Her stats:
Weight 38lbs (fully clothed with shoes) 73%
Height 41 in (with shoes) 77%

The doctor asked her questions to identify colors and her sisters name, to count to 5 and then count backwards from 5.  I did not think she knew how to do that but she did and surprised me.  She is continually surprising us with what she knows and understands.  She is very interested in learning how to read.  While driving she is always asking what signs say and what certain letters spell.  She loves school.  I asked her today if she wanted to go back to school on Wednesday and she said yes.  I asked her why and she said because she loved going to school.  I just hope that feeling continues.  She is a good big sister for the most part.  She likes to help Eloise do things but unfortunately Eloise does not always like her helping.  She continues to be very independent.  She loves to get herself dressed and does a pretty good job at matching.  She only likes to wear dresses and skirts and they have to twirl.  She tends to get dressed and then come ask us if it matches and if it is stylish.

I think we might say this at every age but we really enjoy her right now and wish she could stay this age.
