It's Been Awhile
While Cecelia sleeps I will try to write an update on where we have been.
Trey had orientation for his new company down in Madison Heights last week. We decided this would be a good opportunity for us to take a mini-vacation. So on the Saturday before we packed up and head to Madison. On Sunday we took Cecelia to her first Tigers game. She did great seeing as how it was 84 degrees and we were in the sun the entire game. The tigers won so that made it all the better. On Monday Cecelia and I drove home so I could work Monday night and go to school on Tuesday. Plus we had Cecelia's 7 month pictures on Wednesday afternoon. So after her pictures on Wednesday, which I can't wait to see, we headed back to Madison to pick up Trey and move to a hotel in Novi. The therapist he was training with lived in Novi so it was going to be easier to be closer. On top of that the hotel we stayed in in Novi was much nicer and had a pool so Cecelia got to go swimming. When Trey was done with training on Friday we headed to Imlay city, about an hour from where we were to visit so friends we don't get to see very often. Then headed home. It was a busy week but also nice to be away from the typically week. We were definitely ready to be home on Friday though.
Now that Trey is back in Grand Rapids he is working with the Marketing person for Residential Home Health in GR trying to get referrals from physicians. He will have a couple of easy weeks coming up before the patients starting flowing which will be nice for him. From the orientation and talking with other employees the company seems great. They have had zero turnover in their therapy staff since they started seven years ago. They have had to let go of employees but none have left on their own. That is unheard of in the therapy world. They really value their employees and make sure they know this. We are very excited about this move for Trey.
So that is our story for the past week or so. Now it is back to the daily routine.
