Pumpkin Picking
On Saturday we went to Schwailler's Country Basket on 9 Mile and M-37 out in Sparta to pick out our pumpkins. It was so much fun watching Cecelia walk through the pumpkin patch and pick up different pumpkins. There was also some fun activities for the kids to do.
We started the morning with donuts and apple cider.
Then checked out the farm animals.
Cecelia even got a chance to try milking a cow (fake one of course). She thought it was so fun.
Now to find just the right pumpkin.
She has this thing for rocks. She the big one she is carrying in her hand. She carried almost the entire time.
Visiting the apple orchard
Cecelia helped mommy push the pumpkins back to the barn. She really loves to help. We ended up with 4 pumpkins, one for mommy, daddy, Cecelia and a tiny one for Baby K.
They had a slide for the kids to go down. It was basically a drainage pipe coming out of the second story of a barn. I was really surprised she went down it because the tunnel looked dark. She sure did have fun as you can see on her face.
And to finish off the trip with a ride on the pony.
