11th Anniversary

Our anniversary has come and gone this year with little celebration.  When Trey (jokingly) asked me on Friday morning what I got him for our anniversary I said it is at 2384 Deer Trail, our new house!  Before the whole house thing came to light we had been planning to do a long weekend with the girls to a hotel but luckily never booked it.  Trey had put in for Friday to have a vacation day so instead of going anywhere we worked on the house and accomplished a lot.  Trey and I talked that night about how even though we didn't celebrate our 11th anniversary like we normally would with at least a night out, this past year we have made many changes in our lives.  It all started a year ago when we took our first mission trip to Guatemala, Trey took on a manager role at this job, made the decision to send our kids to Northpointe Christian, I took the position as Children's Ministry Coordinator at church and we decided to move and purchased a new house.  When you look back at a year it sure does put life into perspective.  It goes by so fast but yet so much can happen in such a short time period.  I can't wait to see what God has planned for us in the next year!
