Christmas 2012

Christmas 2012!  Starting with Christmas Eve service at church this holiday season was special throughout for so many reasons, but most importantly really gives us the chance to count our blessings.  We thank God most of all for the gift of His Son, and this blog isn't long enough to thank him for everything else!  :) Upon returning to our home from church the girls opened 1 present (their pajamas).  We then went over to our neighbors and friends the Figgs.  After some good food and fun, we returned home only to get the girls to bed, so we could set up their train (a Christmas morning gift).  As you can see in the photo below, the girls were surprised to see a train set setup downstairs.  They wasted no time in playing with it until the Jaarsma side of the family came over in the morning.  After a morning of opening presents, eating food, and playing with new toys, we had a little bit of down time before the Kubizna side came over in the late afternoon.  So, with more good food, and presents, the girls were overwhelmingly tired and went to bed quite easily on Christmas night.  

A trampoline!!! Present from Grandma and Grandpa Jaarsma.  This will be tons of fun once assembled in the Spring!
