First Week at Home

So we have officially been home for one week with Eloise. It has definitely been a week of adjustments. Trey worked on Tuesday and then took off Wednesday through today. I am really not looking forward to him going back to work tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how the day goes with just me and the girls. We will have a trial run tonight as Trey is getting ready to head out for the rest of the day for a meeting, to see a patient and then to school to teach. He will be back around 8:30 tonight. Eloise went to the doctor last week Wednesday. The doctor was very happy with her progress. She was up to 4lbs 14ozs. Up 1 pound in less then 3 week from her birth weight. He said the usually want to see full term babies back to their birth weight in that amount of time so she is doing great. He said not to change a thing. We will go back tomorrow and then again next week Wednesday. If she is still doing well then we will see if in a month after that. We are still on a every three hour feeding schedule in which we try to stay close to 2, 5, 8, and 11. At night I get up at the 2am and Trey gets up at the 5am allowing each of us to get a 5ish hour span of sleep. This has seemed to be working well but we will see how it goes as time goes by. Cecelia has been doing really well with the adjustment and loves her little sister. She gives her kisses and hugs and likes to touch her hands. She even tries to pick her up and wants to hold her. We have to watch this but it just melts my heart to watch her love Eloise so much. I really pray this will continue as they both get older. We had our first outing as a family of four yesterday. We went to my parents house for dinner. It was very weird to look back and see two kids in the back seat. Getting us all out the door was not an easy task but I am sure it will get easier as we go on.

Here are some new pictures from this past week.
