Big Bugs

On Monday night we all went to the VanAndel/Grand Rapids Public Library for their special Big Bugs event. For one price per person you get admission to the museum, the big bug exhibit, a planetarium show, unlimited carousel rides and dinner. The event went from 5-9p. We picked a great night to go since there were not many people there. We started off with dinner and then proceed to the big bug exhibit. Cecelia loved it as you can see from the pictures below. Right before we left to go see the planetarium show she saw the live crickets and didn't want to leave. She kept asking it go back and see the crickets. We watched the show which Cecelia was not all that into and it was hard to keep her from talking which I'm sure doesn't surprise those of you that know her. After the show we took her through the animal portion of the museum which is on the same floor as the big bugs. She was loving looking at the animals. Then we went back to the big bugs for a bit before ending the night taking two trips around the carousel. You could tell Cecelia was just in awe of the all the stuff to look at.
