Elie has shown some great developmental progress in the last week. She is able to hold her head up and still when seated showing much improved head control. She is also pushing up much higher when she is on her stomach but we don't get to see that all the often since she hates being on her tummy. I mean she hates it. She cries and screams until you roll her over and then she is fine. She is also starting to play with her toys on her play mat and bouncy seat. You can see her reaching for toys that are dangling in front of her. It is amazing to watch her learn new things. I weighed her this morning and she was around 11lbs. She still only takes 3-4 ounces at a feeding and eats about every 3-4 hours. Her nights are hit and miss right now. Typically she wakes up once a night to eat but occasionally she will sleep through it. All of us girls have a cold going on so it makes it harder for her to sleep and also more of a challenge for her to try to suck her bottle and breath.

I keep saying that Eloise is a spitting image of Cecelia. So I thought I would do a comparison. The picture of Cecelia was taken on 3-17-08 so she was almost 3 months old. Eloise's picture was taken today 4-15-10. Eloise is 4 1/2 months old. Eloise weighs 11lbs and Cecelia was 13lbs 10oz.
