7 Months

Eloise is now 7 months old. She weighs 13lbs 13oz and is 25in long. This is the size Cecelia was at 3 months old. She is talking consistently and has even laughed a few weeks ago for the first time. Eloise is a very smiley baby. All you have to do is look at her and she smiles for anyone. She is starting to enjoy spending a little more time on her tummy and even rolled from her tummy to her back for the first time on her birthday!! Her sitting is continuing to improve but is not quite ready to sit on her own and play. We are still working on solids but she much more prefers the bottle. She hasn't quite gotten the concept of opening her mouth for the spoon and tries to lick it with her tongue which makes it hard to get the food into her mouth. She is sleeping great and has gotten down to two naps a day. Her typical day is waking up between 7:30 and 8:30a then a nap about two hours after waking for 1-1 1/2 hours then again a nap around 1-2p for 2-3 hours then ready for bed around 7-7:30p. She is a very easy baby and goes with the flow. She can still fall asleep being held which works well if we are out at bed or nap time but just as easily will fall asleep in her crib. She really is a cuddlier and loves to be held. We are taking it all in knowing that the day will come soon in which she no longer wants to be cuddled.
