One Year Old Today! Happy Birthday Eloise!

Eloise is officially a one year old.  Hard to believe it has already been a year.  She is continually changing.  Elie is starting to eat more table food but if she had her choice she would eat puffs and a bottle at every meal.  Her bottom two teeth are coming up but are not quite visible yet, but they are making an otherwise quiet little girl, a little more vocal and clingy.


For her birthday today we took her and Cecelia to Fredrick Meijer Gardens to see the Christmas trees.  We loaded the girls into their new wagon and took them around the gardens.  We stopped for a few pictures and then went outside to take some more.  Elie's crazy sister was all over the place checking out the trains, water falls, and flowers.

After the gardens, we went home and ate lunch.  After lunch, the crazy sister took a nap and Elie was able to spend some quality time with mommy and daddy while opening her presents.  Elie decided not to take a nap all day long until the car ride to church at 5:00.  After a beautiful Christmas Eve service, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Jaarsma's and had all kinds of good food while enjoying the company of Grandma and Grandpa Kubizna and of course mommy, daddy, and big sis.

We are all looking forward to Christmas day, the day God sent his Son to Earth for us all.  Happy birthday Eloise and Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
