Binder Park Zoo

Yesterday we all went to the Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek. We had a great time. This zoo is much different than the John Ball Zoo and I would highly recommend it to other families. If you have a membership to the John Ball Zoo you admission is half price. The main focus for this zoo is the wildlife safari. They have a transportation that takes you from the main zoo out to the wild Africa Safari where you can see zebras, giraffes and other safari wildlife up close but living in a more natural habitat. Cecelia loved the giraffes and was able to feed them. She surprised us by not be at all afraid as you will see in the video below. They also have a children's zoo that the kids and walk around and feed/pet different animals. They do not have bears, lions or tigers as our zoo does or even the fish/reptiles area. It is an 1 1/2 hour drive to get there but we thought it was well worth the drive and will definitely go back again.
