18 Month Checkup

Last week we went in for Eloise's 18 month check up.  It was nice to be able to bring her back in to the doctors office healthy and smiling again.  Here were her stats:

Weight: 17lbs 14ozs (this is after a week of not eating)
Height: 30 inches

As usual she is not on the charts (or anywhere near the line) for weight and she hasn't gotten any taller so her height is in the 16th percentile.  We also decided to hold off on her one vaccination that was scheduled for this visit.  She had so many shots and tests the week before that I didn't want to put her through another on and also since she was just getting better I didn't want to overload her immune system.  The doctor agreed 100% and said she could have it at her 2 year check up. But she is a healthy and happy LITTLE girl.

The past week her appetite has really come back and she is asking for food during the day.  She also has a new tooth, top left, for a total of 5 teeth!  She did end up getting an allergic reaction to the zythromax and had a pretty good rash again.  Not quite as bad as her last one but it looked very similar.  I think it might have itched this time because she woke up a couple of days with scratch marks on her arms and neck where the rash was.  Although I saw the reaction coming on at the beginning of the week I decided to continue the antibiotics since the rash was much less severe then the fevers she was having and I did not want to risk the infection coming back.  Trey has an allergy to penicillin so I am thinking Eloise will have the same.
