One Week Old

Eloise is officially one week old. Which to me seems like it has been more than a week since her birth. She is still doing very well. She is up to 38 cc's of food every 3 hours and now they give her half formula and half breast milk to get her more calories. We did get to put some clothes on her which we found to be more difficult than expected. The preemie outfit I sent with Trey to the hospital this morning ended up being way to big and she was swimming in it. I brought some more clothes up with me in the afternoon and found that only a set of onesies that we received as gifts would fit her. She is just too skinny. It was nice to see her in clothes though and not just wrapped in a blanket.

Grandma Jaarsma was able to hold her for the first time. I think this picture may be the first one to actually show how little she is.

She is a little peanut, isn't she! You're right, that pic definitely shows her size better.

Glad Eloise is still making progress and that grandma got to hold her!

Praying daily!

Yay, I'm glad the onesies fit - and with how well she's eating, she'll probably bust out of them in no time! :) So glad to hear what great progress she's making!

Jodi,
Those are the only outfits that would fit Kendall too! Did you get pants with them? I need your number so we can meet up! I have tons of clothes and stuff for you to use! Also we have a preemie insert for the car seat that was a total life saver!
Hope all is well! Great to see that she is doing so well so quickly! Praise God!
